Cybersecurity that gets you through your insurance renewal
Cyber-insurance applications have turned into IT audits. Do you use multi-factor authentication? Is there endpoint detection and response on every machine? Are backups offline and tested? Do staff get phishing training? If the honest answer is "I think so", that's a problem at claim time, not just at renewal. We put those controls in place, keep them running, and give you the evidence.
What insurers usually ask about, and what our managed service includes
| They ask | Included |
|---|---|
| Multi-factor authentication (MFA) on email and remote access | MFA set up for every user on Microsoft 365, VPN and remote tools |
| Endpoint detection and response (EDR) | EDR on every supported PC and server we manage, included in every plan, with alerts watched 24/7/365 by the security operations center we partner with. We confirm coverage device by device during onboarding. |
| Email filtering | Phishing and impersonation filtering on every mailbox, switched on during onboarding |
| Security awareness training | Short phishing-awareness training and simulated phishing tests for your staff |
| Offline / immutable backups | Image backups with a protected off-site cloud copy that can't be deleted from your network (see Backup & DR) |
| Patching | Monitored, scheduled patching of Windows and common apps |
| Credential exposure | Dark-web monitoring for your company's email domain |
Phishing training and secure remote access are included in Secure and Secure + Compliance.

Help with the insurance application
Send us the application or the renewal questionnaire. We'll tell you which answers are true today, which ones aren't yet, and what it takes to close the gap before you sign. We're happy to talk to your agent directly. We don't sell insurance; we help you answer the IT questions honestly.
Want a full picture first? The cyber-risk and insurance readiness assessment goes through your application line by line.
Penetration testing
A penetration test is a controlled attempt to break in, run by people on your side, so you find the weak spots before someone else does. We test your external internet-facing systems and, if you need it, your internal network, and give you a report with fixes in priority order. Useful when a customer, insurer or auditor asks for one.
What we won't do
We won't scare you into buying things. Most of the risk for a company your size comes from a short list of basics. We'll fix those first and tell you what can wait.
Not sure where you stand?
Our Manufacturing Cyber-Risk & Insurance Readiness Assessment gives you a written, plain-English picture of your security, backups and insurance gaps, with a fixed quote to fix them, valid for 30 days.
